Which ski is better and why? The Karhu Jak or the Motherships? Are the Jak's just for telemarking?

Thanks

they are the exact same ski aren't they? there's a pair of 190 Jak's on ebay right now for $200

since they're the same ski, get the motherships cause they look cooler

Jak's have softer bases, thinner edges, different topsheet, skin tail notch and a softer more even flex throughout compared to the Motherships.

I'd would'nt reccomend mounted Kahru Jak for DH boards but either tele or Alpine Touring.

KARHU are tele skis, they basicly are line skis just made for tele skiers. My friend gave me a cool karhu shirt. Rock on

Cool dudes wear pink

Alright so I was skiing with some dudes. One of them had a pair of motherships with telemark bindings and the other had a pair of Kahru Jak's with regular bindings. The motherships seemed fine with telemarks, but the Kahrus were hard to trn i guess, really fat ski. I don't recommend putting regular bindings on them, only telemark
