kanye is a really dope producer, but his skills also stops there. To be honest, he isn't much of a mc. heard him freestylin once, it was absolutely awful

yes. i can, and i do. his lyrics are fucking awful. On the new Talib disc, Eardrum (which is amazing, go buy it) Kanye has BY FAR the absolute worst verse on the whole cd. It's attrocious
 
check out "this way" by dilated peoples. the same exact effect with is verse in that

saying something like "here i am doin the same ole 2 step"

and something about either getting laid or getting paid, whichever one he does teh other is gettin away.

kanye, dont make us live "this way" with your mcing. from what ive heard, his production is pretty good, and thats it. and im basing that off like 3 songs
 
Kanye doesn't have a verse on Eardrum... But I agree, it's a dope cd, definitely one of the best to come out in a while.
 
I like Kanye, maybe a little cocky and maybe a little bit of a baby but other than that I think he puts out some decent shit.

i know, and i love the music. i like a lot of kanye's music and production he's done for other artists. i just HATE when he's on the mic.
 
Some of his verses I love, some I can't stand... he changes it up a lot and I don't think it always works, but overall I dig his stuff.
