Kangaroo flips

yo turp, so i'm trying to learn them just on diving boards right now to get the feel for the trick and perfect it before i try it on snow which will probably end up being next season.
for me, the first flip is solid and then the second one gets sloppy and is not on the same axis and i sometimes don't even get it around.
what do ya got for me gangsta?

sure jump right into the hard ones. well G its like this when your doing dubs, one on the way up and one on the way down. i hope your trying it on the 3m spring. and im sure your not getting the sec one around because of a pour pop. thats my prob most the time. when you set it to low you end up doing bolth on the way down. thats no good. Practice by doing str8 jumps off and counting out loud 1..2..switch and get a feel for where you tricks will be at what time in the air. make sence?
second i bet your second flip is crazy half the time because you open your left arm on the first flip assuming you spin left and I know you do. so SET IT RIGHT AND KEEP IT TIGHT. dont brake you origonal set positoin untill its time to ajust to the landing.. try that at the pool and let me know how it works.later alex

ok so you just answered my first question, now how about on snow? i can see it super well in my head now how do i translate it into reality?

So if you can see it in your head. you have one of two ways to go here.
1) find a jump that has the right hang time and distence. man up and go for it.
2) find a safe place to try it at least once b4 going to the hill. diving board or a foam pitt.
If you dont have ether one of these you may have to learn old school. By building back country pow jump and work your way up to it. the other option is wait till the end of the session and just go for it and if you get hurt you got 6 months to heel.

I dont know what tricks you can do so I dont want to just tell you go do it. its a risky trick and you should have all your exit tricks ready for if something goes wrong. if you have never done dub back you may want to start there. dubs are a big tricks and you should not have to ask for to much help if your at the level to be doing this trick.

i have flat spins down really well. there usually my go to trick for first hit and things like that.. but yeah i think im just going ot man up and try it, we have all the components for that you suggested: jump with lots of hang time, and it happens to be in the bc haha..thanks for the help

oh turp sorry for calling it kangaroo flip, i meant double flat 9 i know you hate that gay ass name and quite frankly i agree

Just got a chance to try these on the diving boards tonight and was a great learning experience. If you can see it in you head I would suggest you try in on a diving board first because if something goes wrong its not that big of a deal plus you get the feel for how the rotation is going to feel in the air. I am super stoked to get out on snow and see what happens..

The only thing I need to figure out is when I was doing them on the diving boards sometimes I would go double flat 9 and a few times I came out 10. So I need to figure that out.

bah. I want to learn these so bad. I'm hitting up a diving board saturday. I can dub front and back (while standing backwards on the board) and almost dub lincoln but I can't seem to throw flats off a diving board. any help?
