so im getting this board for next season. i know its sick for rails and park, but i was wonedring how it will handle in the pipe and pow. pow is gonna be very limited since i live in the east coast but i mihgt go to jay peak once and a while. i want to get more into pipe but im still gonna be riding urban and park more than pipe. so will it absolutly suck in pipe or just not be ideal?
 
i woodnt suggest using ur brand new www to do urban, use ur old board or buy one of those urban specifics for mad cheap online
 
I worked at edelwiess last year.. which emant that due to the MSSI i could get a free pass to Jay peak, i never took advantage of that doozie..
 
its basically a park board that can be taken out of the park

it wont ride great in the pipe, but well enough to hit it, it wont ride well at all in the pow... but youll be able to do it

i rode for 2 years on a 152 and 153 jeenyus and i went to mammoth and could manage pow, it was just tough.

Boards can be ridden almost anywhere unless theyre super specific boards, like the forum street dweller/burton edgless dominant, or ride kink. You just have to figure out how they handle in each and adapt to that. But youd prob have a lot more fun in the pipe with a mervin board, a lot more fun in the pow with a big burton board, and a lot more fun on the rails with a soft forum board. thats why pros have quivers.
 
If you are riding park, you will want a shorter board. But a shorter board in pow will be balls. Plus the WWW is soft, which is balls in poweder, as well. Same for pipe, I think it's too soft.

 
im wondering wheather to get the 142 or 147 becuase it says to ride it 5 cm shorter than usual. im 5 3 ish and about 100 pounds
 
uh oh now i found a deal on the ride kink for 255$ at a size 147. should i get that or stick with the WWW
 
depends on what size your planning on getting the www. if you plan on getting the www smaller like a jib board, then id say go with the deal. but if your not planning on using it as a jib board, which its really not, id say stick with the www.
 
yeah its not a big deal for pow and pipe that would just be extra. if i needed bindings i would get the formulas (the ones your talkin about) or T9 mfm's. i would most likely get the t9s cause i wanna support them and becuase i hear they are sick bindings and have great customer service. but i have near new burton customs so yeah
