i asked k2 this:

I purchased a pair of Public Enemy twin tips and i need to remount them

because they are way to far back for my liking. I have a friend who did this

to a pair of lines and snapped them exactly where the old mounting holes

were, will you warranty this? Thanks for your help!

and they told me this:

If the skis are within a year from your purchase date you will have no

problem, but be sure to plug the holes. Beware though, if you remount more

than twice you will void the warranty, skis can only be drilled three times.

I'm SOOO happy, that kicks ass!!

K2 has a great warranty department. They do all they can and replace a lot of skis that were just beat up by customers. They do all they can for the customer.

what happened was the guy help the ski sideways to me and i wasn't really paying attention and i wanted it at 1 1/2 forward, but i didnt notice he pointed to 1 1/2 backwards and i said yes thats where, when i got them back they were WAY to far back, so i'm getting them at 1 1/2 forward now, thank God k2 is gonna warranty this! Should I put it at 1 1/2 forward or is it still gonna be back, cuz i want them EXACT center.

I am a skier.

fer one, k2 doesnt kick ass, they have had a shitty warranty for me, so thats my thing with em, but i think that pep is workin with em and has done a lot for them. pep rides em at +4, and he seems to do well with it. the ski isnt engineered to be centered, so i wouldnt suggest it
