K2 warehouse sale?

i'm just wondering if anybody knows where their warehouse is and if there's gonna be a sale anytime this year..

Last i heard of it (from a friend), it was basically just a random sale that the employees up in seattle decided to put on whenever they felt like it/or when they had enough staff to do it...so you had to literally drive by everyday and check if it was on. I can't find much about it online, so any info would be great..!!

Last year they had like a garage sale of sorts out on Vashon, a moving sale if you will. All kinds of stupid cheap stuff. I got snowshoes, some new 1260's for $30, a nice helmet. It was rad.

I don't know if they do sales at the new location in Seattle, I doubt it though. I miss working at K2

thanks for the info. sounds like you def got the goods..yea, I called their office up in seattle and also emailed them up there, and both proved successful for getting information about it..

Here's what their response to my email said:

"Thanks for your interest, however we do not currently have any plans for

a warehouse sale in our K2 Seattle office. We used to host these out on

Vashon but since we've moved to Seattle we haven't had one and I don't

see any plans to in the near future. It would be worth checking back in

6 months or so, as that might change."

basically got the same response from talking on the phone. The guy said that they've had a lot of problems with people trying to return stuff bought at these warehouse sales and combined with the "lack of amount of gear" that they can sell to begin with (?), they are not going to be doing the sales barely ever. So say a big thank you to all the idiots out there who try to rip off sweet companies like k2 by trying to return gear that's obviously not brand new or 'perfect'......just go ahead and ruin the deals for everyone else....oh well.

I'll def check back next year around september just to see..
