K2 vs Nike

i feel they might have stiffer inserts? or maybe the boot just looks way more solid in the then the picture.

but nike is a smart company, i think they would realize that ski boots need to be stiff.

Just look at the picture. I can't imagine something with just a lace up system giving you any real support

based off of what? if it has a hard tongue what difference does that make? it still has a power strap. But keep on speculating off of a single picture and NO information.

Nike has been known to produce game changer products as well as the shitiest stuff in the game.

And i think as a first year model these are going to fall right in the middle. I honestly have NO idea. Just speculation.

BUT, my nike snowboard boots are a shit ton more comphy then my double sixx's. If they could somehow mix the two, that'd be legit. and interesteting to see how it works out.

I can kind of imagine the black and green one in the back ground being a ski boot but just looking at them they look like tele-boots.

It also seems a strange that they have completely flat bases?

This.

Good holy god. Also no more shin bang?

To James H Dalbello has pretty flat bottoms .

Nike should just collaborate with a ski boot company, do nike footbeds or something. Boots are too complicated to just show up one day and get it right

I would deffaintly pick up a pair of Nike boots. Iv been think about this for the last year or so and my HD are about to die. Provided they fit right I think it looks dope

K2 owns full tilt, so there's no way they can be completely independent, and if they have valuable R&D from Full Tilt, wouldn't it be counterproductive not to make use of it?

I don't care how stiff they make the boot, I do not trust a couple thin shoelaces to support my weight while going mach 10.
