K2 skis yo

So I'm 5'11 and have a killer deal in the waiting on some 2011 recoils. The problem is, I'm not sure if that the 169 size I can get them in is going to work out. I would only ski park on these, and would mostly be hitting 30-40 foot jumps and rails. I'm not very aggressive in the park, and 140 lbs. I haven't tried these skis out center mounted yet (where I would be skiing them). Anybody here have any issues with them? I've heard the weight is pretty bad, but I can deal with that.

Since you're going to be hitting big kickers I'd go at least 174, maybe 179. Also, Recoils are all mountain skis, not park skis. If you want something solely for park, go with something like Line Chronics instead.

Holy fuck it's the best skier on 4chan. Recoils are really good for park don't listen to this guy, you can hit the biggest jumps on earth and hit the tamest urban rails in the same day. This ski is also bombproof and will last you a very long time.

Recoils are great skis. I've skied them and I love them. I didn't say they aren't good in park. It doesn't change the fact that they are all mountain skis and will therefore not be as good in park as a park specific ski. OP said that he wants something solely for park.

This ski slays the park better than most park specific skis in my opinion it's a perfect all around.

Perfect all around, yeah. If OP wants something for all mountain with an emphasis on park it would be an excellent ski. And K2 skis are awesome so I wouldn't be surprised if it does better in park than some park specific skis. I still don't think it would be ideal if OP wants something solely for park.

Also, OP, if you're going to be charging hard on groomers at all, the Recoils are great if you like quick aggressive short radius turns. I love them for that. They don't do as well with long sweeping turns though.

I'm 5'8 and had 169 recoils and found them too short, sold them to a friend. He's bigger and heavier than me though and he seems to like them. It's all personal preference, however for what you are talking about I would want at least 174s.
