K2 skis actual size

There have been a couple of threads on this...it seems to depend on the ski - I for sure though that the Domain and Revival are 3-4cm bigger than advertised.
 
yeah the patroller rep at my hill said the hellbents are true to size but i haven't seen them in person to compare. where is that k2 guy?
 
Yes, like I said above, the Domain is about 3cm longer than it says - so a 169 is actually a bit longer than 172cm (I know this because I measured them in the shop).
 
Larger? I always thought K2's were smaller.

A mate of mine has like 180 Salamon Czar's and another mate has the 189 Kung Fujas...they're exactly the same size. The Kung Fujas sure as hell aren't the full 189!
 
oh shit i never heard of this... and never really thought about it for that matter... o well... so yo guys i have 179cm 2008 silencers (the black ones) are they really more than the 179cm???? this is weird, like seriously i don't go on ns enough i don't know about this stuff
 
He's got the 179's, because they measure out to about 182-183, and the salomon czar is made in a 182, which makes total sense
 
Hmm what size Domains will fit me best? I'm 5"9 (175.5cm) and around 140lbs my skistyle is kinda using the mountain as a park, buttering and popping on groomers and the sidewalk of the groomers ( so I will be doing some carving ) but also slaying some park.

169 or 179?
