K2 Shreditor 102

So Ive been in Utah the passed few days and I've seen a lot of people on K2 Shreditors. I really like the way the ski looks... has anyone had this ski before that can tell me how they liked it?

Pretty soft, on the damp side, durable. Ski's well in decent powder at speed. Not a charger but is relatively stable and fun. For all over the mountain and park, it's a good ski.

the 102 are going to be your best all mountain one ski quiver but the only difficulty is finding a retailer that still carries them in stock

I had them they are a solid all mountain/park ski but I need something that charges harder. If you are looking to buy I have a pair of 184

I hated them. Too soft in the tip and tail for all mountain riding IMO. Basically, they seemed to me to be a sized-down "playful" powder ski. I can understand why someone would want this flex profile in a power ski, but to shrink it down to an all mountain waist width doesn't make sense. Does not hold up well at speed. Is too soft to get grip on harder snow. They were super fun for messing around in the park, skiing slush and skiing powder on days that you didn't have your pow skis.

The poacher is a MUCH better option for an all mountain/park twin. Basically, it has everything the 102 lacked. It's good for higher speeds and bigger jumps but it's still relatively playful. It's too bad it looks so ugly.

How do they measure? The 191’s are cheap.

dont quote me on this but i believe k2s are generally long for their size. it's been a while since ive checked or seen first hand though

Most K2s measure long, but not as long as they used to in like 2009..

I believe the 191 shreditor 102s are 192cm.

I rode the 177. Definitely skied long for its size. The longer you go, the softer they get. I recommend riding this in the 177 vs the 184 if you usually prefer around a 180 ski. Unless maybe this is a 1 ski quiver and you want extra float.

Being 6’ 215 lbs. long and soft just isnt my jam. Im on 194 devastators right now and im going to mount up my 184’s to try out this year. I may sell both and go with the 188 pbj.

Been riding the 102's in 184 at snowbird as my all mountain ski when the snow is less than ideal. They're super soft for an all mountain ski, and I found them super floppy while charging out of bigger lines over chunder.. As for slower all mtn jibbing and park the I'm sure the softer flex works well. It probably didn't help I also had frame touring bindings on them which added weight and an awkward hard spot under the ski. That being said if anyones interested in a 2014 shreditor in 184 let me know! 7/10 condition. New to posting on NS but plan on posting an early season sale w/ tons of gear and pics in the next few weeks here.
