K2 Recoils or Surface blanks?

looking for a new pair of skis and have a low budget. I found a pair of k2 recoils for $250 on sports authority with a "Cosmetic Defect" and i was also looking at the surface park blanks. If you guys have had any problems with them or something your opinion would be great.

I ride recoils and they're amazing. They flex well and are a dope all mountain ski and I haven't owned surface blanks but I've always heard they're incredibly easy to break. I've beat the shit out of my K2's and they last.
