K2 Recoil vs. K2 Extreme

Advanced all-mountain skier looking to get into the park. I've done some jumps but nothing crazy. This will be my first twin tipped ski. 5'11'', 175 lbs and don't want to give up any more all-mountain performance than I have to (east coast, so no powder). I've narrowed it down to these two, but can anyone give me a side by side on them? The Recoils have gotten great reviews, and I understand the rocker will make them ski a little shorter. The Extremes are full camber so should be better all-mountain (maybe), but will they suffer in the park?

In short, assuming they're both brand new and both the same price, what are the reasons of buying one over the other?

Also, any advice on length? I'm on 174 Apache Crossfires right now that are true to length. Would 179s in either the Recoil or Extreme be too long?

Other thing to think about it is the Extreme's will have Schizo bindings and the Recoils would not... just a budget thing.

BTW, I also understand that the Extreme's are just the Public Enemy with different graphics.

Extremes were Public Enemies without the ptex topsheet; they skied a hell of a lot nicer than the PE.

First off you should buy the 179 in either ski. I'm 5'10" with the 179 recoils and they are the right length, don't go smaller. Secondly, the recoils slight rocker profile will help you more in terms of all- mountain while the full camber in the extreme will be better suited for park. As I said I have the recoil and I would absolutely recommend them

for park and east coast all-mountain skiing. They hanndle light powder up to like 6 inches and are great in any condition like crud or slush or packed powder. I can't speak for the extremes because Ive never skiied them but the recoils are in my experience a great one ski east coast quiver. Get them

went with the extremes in a 179, mostly so I could go with the schizo bindings. I know they're not the best bindings out there, but I want to play with the mounting point as I'm not sure how park-oriented of a ski I'll want. Kind of using these as a learning process to see what I like - hopefully will get some time on them this weekend.

BTW - i read somewhere that the Extremes are the same shape as the PEs, but they were a little lighter and they made them a little more flexy in the tip and tail, might explain why they skied sweeter for some.
