K2 Recoil Help!

Hi guys,

I have a chance of getting a good deal on this years K2Recoil 159cm. I am 5ft 8inches and growing. I am a beginner and want to get into park but also ski around my local hill. Is this a good ski for me? Will it last me a couple years?

Dude, Im 5'8'' and a 130 weighing 14 year old. do not get such a short ski. get 174 or 169 159 is waay too short and i didn't even know you could get ones that short. otherwise i have the Rollingstones limited edition recoils and they would be perfect because they are "a bomb proof ski"
 
Yeah that's definitely way too short. If you were done growing you could get away with the 169 (barely) but you are definitely gonna want the 174 version
 
as said you need a longer ski, Im 5'6" and Im on 169cm skis and I would willingly go longer. As to the durability they should last you 2 or even 3 seasons especially as a beginner since you most likely wont be hammering them too hard
