They are one of the better all mountain skis. Although I've never ridden them, just going from what I have seen and heard, so I really can't say.
 
^great all mountain skis, best ive ridden out of fujis, chronic, msp, or maden. It is nice and stiff to bust your way through crud and nice wide nose makes it decent in pow. buy some.
 
i rekon they are a great ski for tricks and all mountain - the flex is fine for park, yet stiff enough for allmountain.. also they arent super wide underfoot so they arent bad in the park

i have a pair and they ride real nice. great for ripping all mountain real quick edge to edge. in the park they have a moderate flex and aren't to hard to spin just don't expect them to be really light. maybe its just me but i think their a bit on the heavy side but that varies from person to person
 
you obviously have not ridden both of these skis. And saying the chrons last longer is so far from the truth. they are a good durable ski, but the pes are damn near bullet proof
 
i can butter mine like crazy. 06, 174 and i'm 150. just nosepress when you land switch a few times and they'll break in all right
 
true. I noticed mine started to get softer after a while. then one day I spent 10 minutes repeatedly flexing both skis. they did soften up. Nontheless my butter skills are still lacking, however, i am not blaming that on the ski
 
I think you can't go wrong with PEs.

I've been riding them since last summer and the kills allmountain! I didn't notice they get softer that much, just a lil' bit.

If you buy PEs, the only thing you had to think about is the mounting position for the bindings. You got a lot of thread about it here and also on www.k2factoryteam.com (forum section).

According to me :

midsole(0) to +4 is 80%Pow/20%Park

+4 to +6 is 60%Pow/40%Park

+6 to core center(+7.5) is allmoutain riping!

Further than core center is mostly parkskiing to only parkskiing.

That's my opinion.
 
i thought they felt bomb proof but a bit sluggish and i never rode them in the park so i cant say anything there
