what can you say about the public enemy by k2 the 2008 model. i have never heard anything about them... please help with reviews on what you think
 
very solid ski, very durable in most cases

the only negative thing i have heard and felt from them is that they are relatively lifeless, (minimal pop)
 
I agree with it being lifeless. From what I hear, this is because of the P-Tex top. It dampens any feel you should get.

Otherwise, it is a solid ski. It can handle anything you throw at it.
 
exactly, but it's pretty bombproof. if you like the specs of the PE but want something with a little more snap and liveliness, check out this year's extreme. same internals, but no more ptex topsheet, so its lighter and slightly less damp.
 
Yeah... I had a chance to ski the Extreme... Its a much better ski. A really good replacement for the PEs. But, I'm not a big fan of the graphics.
 
Really solid ski. I have the 07's and i've used them for everything, including urban, and i still dont have an edge crack anywhere. I used them at the pool all fall so they are really really soft and buttery now, so much fun. But i did just get the extremes, cant wait for them to come in.
