When are the 2003 Public Enemy and Seth Pistol coming out? What are their specs and how will they compare to the rossignol scratchs or salomon pocket rocket/1080? Any info on this topic would be awesome. Has K2 fixed their delam and durability problems? Thanks.

they go on production in december...the delam problem was fixed when they got rid of the multi color base...ya know, the red white and blue one. these skis will beat out both the scratches and the pocket rockets. talking to pep, he says they are very sick. lengths are 169 179 189 for both. not sure on dimensions, cept the seth pistol is 95 at the waste...

Both skis will go into production in November and the Public Enemy is supposed to be out by December! The ski will be serious. 80mm at the waist, equal height, blunted tip and tail, red vertical ABS sidewalls for strength, sets of three rivets in tip and tail, and some sick graphics. (shameless, I know)

In the slap testing machine, which hands out a punishing array of simulated slap landings at various low temperatures, the PE skis wouldn't delam! This had never happened before, so everyone is stoked. This is extra good for all you Easerners and Midwestern honkeys. The Public Enemeys will be cheaper than the Scratches and the 1080s, but still try everything out and pick the ski you like. I love the way they ride, and I have ridden on Scratches and 1080s too. Just my opinion.

 
all that sounds great, they sound like a really good ski and i like k2, problem is i need new skis now, not in december after the mountains have been opened for two months

They are supposed to be available December 1st. Maybe you caould find a friend's pair to kick it on 'till they arrive.

well season doesn't even start here till christmas anyway, so i'm getting them. yay, now i need to make $500. any donations are appreciated.

and as for the seth pistols...the last i heard they were going on production before the PE...but i dont know if this still holds true

Seeing as how they are already advertising for the Seth Pistol, it will probably be out before the PE wouldnt u think?

Both are some badass skis. I think you'll all be very impressed with them. Probably one of the best things to come out in a while.

I was at High North Session 1 and Szocs was on the Public Enemies. He said they were sick but the rear tip did delam on him, but once the ski is in production for the public, I think that problem will be solved. Someone metion somthing about three rivits on each tip and that sounds like it would have fixed the problem. (Szocs skis didn't have the rivits). The graphics on them are sweet, they are mostly white with the black outline of an urban crime scene (buildings, street, and cop cars). I think the idea is you color/design the scene to your personal liking.

The Public Enemy and Seth Pistol should be released around the same time, early December. You can get more info on both skis once it gets closer on www.sethpistol.com and www.k2factoryyeam.com. I would also like to give mad props to Schmies who designed the sickest graphic for PE. It's his art that makes the ski so dope.

 
Ya the PE's look like they're totaly kicking, i'm thinking of getting a pair when they come out, but i'm poor so I doubt i will.
