K2 public enemy with marker griff bindings

i have k2 public enemys and i was going to mount them with marker griff bindings as my park set up... is that a good light park set up?

there are 2 huge problems with that setup.
1. PEs are way to heavy and have 0 pop. they are not a good park ski at all2. griffons are shit, all plastic. you will destroy them if you are over 120lbs. if you want a 12 din binding get sth12s for the same price or cheaper

like everyone has said - pe's are heavy as hell. not only are they heavy, but they are also stiff as fuck...great for big jumps and all mountain, but kinda suck for everything else.

Get STH 12s or Look PX12 or Rossi Axial2 120s for binders.

BTW... what price range are you looking at for skis. Since they no longer are producing Public Enemies, you are probably trying to buy them since they are being clearanced out. How much you willing to spend cause I bet everyone here will be able to recommend a ski at your price range.

unless you are very light, dont get griffons, and PE's suck, they are great for gapers who like to mount at +18 but they suck for park, look into something else.

well guys, i'm pretty sure the fact that he said he HAS PE's means he isn't going to buy park skis just because you told him PE's suck. so telling him that his skis suck isn't really helping in the least bit.

but to OP, no that is not a "light" setup. griffs aren't very good bindings and PE's are not very light skis, and if what you wanted was a light setup then you probably shouldn't have bought PE's, should've got a park-specific ski instead.

I think the PE is a great ski, lots of gapers have them because they are very popular, and they are popular for a reason, they are a great all around ski. I have to disagree with they are "very stiff". They are stifffer than many park skis but because they are stiffer they can handle themselves outside the park. If you ski 85-100% park then you might want a softer ski.

I agree with the griffon comments, spend the extra $100 and get the jesters or go with Look or Salomon.
