ok guys i have decided on buying the pe's b/c i am planning on riding a good amount of all mountain i am about 5'5- 5'6 should i get the 159 or the 169? I am not that expiranced (sp)

 
get the 169 youre not going to like them right away but further on in the season when you get better youre going to like them sooo much more than youd like the 159

yeah definately 169. they will seems pretty long and hard to control at first but you'll get to like them. better than having to buy another pair later in the season. but in saying that i jumped from a 158 to a 179 and didnt really notice the change, but that might b because my old skis were far to short

dont they make the pe in a 164 this yea because that would be a much better size for you

at least the 169. if u are getting the 05/06 get the 174,especially if youre gonna be riding all mtn/pow u wil like the extra length for your control and flotation in the pow

 
go with the 174, or the 179 if your just gonna be riding all mountain and stuff, the 179 migt be a bit big, but it would be close, im about the same height as u and am looking at either the 174 or the 179

 
i wouldnt go bigger than a 169 at your height. it will be well over your head which isnt as good for park, As long as you have the length for stability dont do too long.

169 for sure. i was about 5' 1" and decided i should get the 169. i ended up growing, but im only about an inch taller than you have the 169

 
Wow man, I wouldnt even think of getting 159s at your height...Im 5 foot tall and I ride the 159's...They are about 2-3 inches taller than my head, and I think its awesome for park and so much better control than my old short felxy skis. Get the 169's, or even the 179's, or if your thinking about the 06, get the 174's for sure. I dont know what these people are talking about...The taller the skis, the better...Trust me
