K2 Poacher 184 mounting lines?

Anyone know where the mounting lines are (ie how far back is there recommend compared to core centre) on the 184 poacher, trying to decide where to mount them?

Im going to the store to get them mounted on Friday, but bought them on the store's website so I won't see them until actually there. Tried searching, but couldnt find much for these skis.

If you have any advice about where to mount, that would be great too, I'm 5 11", 165, will spend probably 10/80/10, park/ all mountain/ pow, but ski switch around the mountain and hope to start progressing my spins and switch landings over the life of the ski, so im leaning towards a more progressive mount, but definitely not core center. While skiing all mountain love to jump of moguls, cliffs, lips etc and generally ski fast and charge around

K2 skis usually have a scale printed on the sidewall, going from 0 to +7.5 (that usually being "true center"). So it's really up to you. Some people on here will say to mount at center, but the Poacher isn't a symmetrical ski and if you want to do 80% of all mountain, maybe you should mount a bit further back.

Ya definitely not going to mount at centre, but don't think I want to go all 7.5 back.

Just to conform, 0 would be their recommended and 7.5 would be true centre, with core centre somewhere in between?

You'll have to measure to be sure. I think it's true center. But not 100% sure. Also apparently sometimes the scale is inverted (might be for the models?), 0 being center. Either way I'm sure you'll see once you have the skis in front of you.

The mid sole location is at -5cm from center. I would not go that far back though. I have mine at -1cm from center but about -2.5cm is great spot for them. The center ridge on the ski is center btw.

Perfect, exactly what I was looking for.

Ya, I was leaning towards something like -2.5

I have mine at true centre and love how they ski, skiing switch is a lot better than on my mordecais which are 2 cm back

I have mine 1.5 cm back from center line, they are good in park and in switch skiing, but also rip all around
