K2 Pinnacle 105

Has anyone skied them? They sound like some pretty sweet sticks but I haven't heard many first hand reviews. What are some pros and cons?

I got shreditors as my all mountain ski, so i'm thinking about getting these to compliment them. Don't currently have an all mountain ski to charge on. Definitely the coolest ski that k2 has put out in this catagory in a long time.

Pinnacle 105's are so damn fun. Seriously, if you're considering something directional that can handle everything this is it. I've been on them in deep snow, and early season "white ribbon of death" conditions and every time they'd charge and hold a great edge.

can you explain the difference in feel between the 95 and the 105?

I have a powder ski, and a playful all-mountain ski, and a park ski. I'm trying to fit two skis between my powder ski and my park ski. One for more playful skiing (shred 102), and now I want more of a fall line charger that I can ski chopped up back bowls as well as groomers and maybe also some bumps.

Basically, is the only advantage of the 105 its soft snow performance, or is it noticeably more stable in crud than the 95? Also how much more fun is the 95 on groomers than the 105?

I would say that the 105 would suit you better. It'll have a little more float in soft snow, and be able to power through the chunder that you're describing. The 95 will be a little more maneuverable through bumps and trees, but I had no problems doing it all on the 105.

I demoed these last year in VT and it was pretty firm to icy and I was railing turns no problem. Also went into the moguls and was able to maneuver very easily with super low swing weight. I would defiantly recommend them!
