You know what would be fucking smart? If K2, Volkl, Armada, Line, 4Frnt, Rossi, Salomon, et al, all gave us accurate tech manuals with real info regarding alternative mounting positions, both forward and back. That way, there wouldn't be a million bullshit threads about mounting, and no bullshit mistakes about the graphic on the side of the ski being "off by 2cm". Just nice, easy to find info on mounting spots. Stuff like "+4 is true center", etc. It obviously differs from make to make, so each brand would have to put out their own, but it'd save everyone, especially shop people, a fuckload of time and effort.
Of course, this is skiing, so we can't do something like that until 3-5 years after snowboarding has done it. Though, if I remember correctly, we had a mounting chart for Armada 2 years ago...
