K2 Mindbender touring boots for park?

I need some Advice,

I just bought the K2 Mindbender boots (120) for this Season, cause I wanna get more into touring. I still wanna ride park a lot, is it risky to bring them into the Park? i dont wanna blow up the powerlock of the K2s or something else. (I dont ride Park to hard, just some 3s over medium sized kickers and some easy rails and stuff). Or should i buy a pair of park boots like FT as well?

I can’t speak on if the k2s will survive park, but the idea of a park boot is just marketing. Any alpine boot that fits right and has your preferred flex will be the best in the park.

Yeah i know, i also only rode park with alpin boots yet, and it actually went quite well. I like the 120 flex tbh, its tuff sometimes on landings, but i cant imagin having the same control in 80s oder 90s flexed FTs

Been rocking mindbenders past two seasons, no issues aside from liner kinda packing out quick. Probs worth to throw some zip fits if your looking at the boots as a long term option

I think you good bro. That lever is one of the burliest ones I’ve seen, I feel like it’s built to withstand much bigger shit than medium kickers.

You'll be fine, but keep an eye on the walk mechanism.

Not just in the park, but any time when you're going to go downhill, when touring too. Landing a jump/drop in walk mode is a great way to mess up your ankle.

I already forgot to close it one time, youre right, wouldnt recommend it haha

I don't ski park a lot, but when I do, it's sloppy and hard on my boots. Lots of crashes trying to get the synapses to fire like they did again. Ski in the MB 130.

You're fine. I think the only thing to keep in mind is that the Mindbender is a fully serviceable boot - meaning, nut plates, powerlock, etc. etc. are all held in by screws. Not a huge deal, but they will rattle loose. I end up having to do a lot of upkeep. Nothing breaks, nothing needs to be replaced, just....keep your locktite and Phillips head driver handy.
