K2 Disorderly's Stolen at Mt. Snow on Pay Your Age Day

Hey NS,

I went into the lodge at about 3:15 and came back out to find my 2010 K2 Disorderly 176's gone. They had a Colorado Ski Shop sticker near the tip on one ski, and another half ripped off sticker behind the binding of the other. I know the chances of getting these back are slim, but I'd just like to let you all know. I just hope it wasn't a fellow NSer, becuase this is quite a disappointing experience.

Daang that sucks. My wu tang gloves, skullcandy icons, and nike sbs were stolen from the lodge two nights ago.

I'll keep my eyes peeled.
 
that sucks man, i hope you can get em back.... idk if k2 can do anything but try given them a call... i have disorderlys as well as fujatives, and id be pissed if that happened man! +vibes!

awh man. that sucks. i have the same skis, soo much fun.

not to be a dick but you said they were a 176, do you mean 179? i have that length and i find it ahrd to belive they would make a 3cm shorter version. would help ti identify the ski if you did make that mistake. the mistake would be totally acceptable, if i was you i would be too distraught to type.
 
if you've gotten your skis tuned at a shop, try to contact them and see if they have your serial number. then you can post it to NS or tell ski shops to look out for it.

good luck dude, that's one of the lowest things a person can do.

At least remember that Karma is a bitch and the first run that kid takes on those skiis hes gonna break an arm or tear his ACL or some shit
 
that fucking sucks dude. i ski at mt. snow. i lean my skis up against the windows if i even go in the lodge.
 
Mt. Snow may have taken Sunday River's place as the stolen ski hot spot of the east...

im so sick of people stealing stuff there, whoever stole my gloves last weekend FUCK YOU. why would you ever steal gloves full of holes?? i never used to worry about stuff getting jacked there.

shits fucked up..write down the serial number of your skis for insurance proof.
 
i would suggest (if your mountain has it)you getting ski check in. i did this when i got my DISORDLYS this year i love thema nd i dint want tog et them stolen after hearing tons storrys about gappers steeling poepls stuff.
 
i have a dinosaur stencil i use to paint a pink or blue brontosaurus on every board i ride.

to the OP, i hope you find your skis, and get to kick the shit out of the fuck that stole them. people are scum. remember to let your mountain security people (if they have them) know, and to call the shops in your are and tell them the skis were stolen, so if the person tries to go have them re-mounted they can see that they arent yours.

Step 1: Buy Spray Paint

Step 2: Paint shit literally all over your skis.

Step 3: Ski hard so your bases properly get fucked up and the edges become dull and cracked.

Step 4: Use wicked old, preferably semi broken bindings.

If you do these things people won't bother stealing your broken ass shitty equipment.
 
Yeah, you are right (although it is disappointing the entire ski community isn't trustworthy). I normally separate them, but I just hurried inside because I had tweaked my knee and wasn't thinking straight.

Separate your skis or buy a lock! You may feel paranoid doing it, but now I know it's always worth it.
 
i meant to put in past tense, meaning yesterday my skis didn't get stolen, but i still knocked on wood

i've heard of a bunch of pairs stolen at the bottom of mt snow, but none at the top. it can still totally happen but it's much less likely, so always eat at the top
 
dude so many skis get stolen on the pay your age day, it really sucks you cant trust fellow riders but its something youve gotta live with, hope you find them.
 
i had a pair of shitty ass invaders with duct tape on 3 of 4 tips stolen from mt snow last year, shit sucks. your skis are probably in new york or jersey stripped down and waiting to be pawned by now.
