whoever did this had an extremely compressed file. If you were to do this to your 128kps song it would sound like shit. Find a song that is really fucking compressed and you will get this smooth effect.

A FLAC file would work well for this, and if you took the tracks straight off teh CD and made them some lossless format it would also work.

Doesn't compressing the music make it worse... ie- compressed music takes up less space but loses quality? correct me if I'm wrong.
