January 2010, it was getting very late at the mountain and iw as waiting for my dad to pick me up since i didnt have my license at the time. I was really tired from this day of skiing, so tired that i accidentally left my Salomon SPK Pros behind me on the bench that i hadnt even used 20 times since the the season had just started. I didnt realize it until the next morning, when i had the worst flashback ever while searching for them. i went to the Lost & Found, they hadnt found anything. i talked about it to everybody i knew, im sure at least 100 people heard the word. after weeks of looking on the internet and even posting adds at the ski resort, i lost all hope and started putting money aside to buy another pair for the next season.

Today, i received a call from a friend he knew someone that wanted to sell him some Salomon SPK pros 100$, same size (29,5, huge for a short guy), same sole in it (not the original, i had changed it for volcano yellow and orange). just got them back 8 months later, still in great shape

i am the happiest person in the world right now, i still cant believe how lucky i am

I learned something today, never lose hope, because good things can always happen at the moment you least expect them to

hopefully my friend know him well enough so she just said to leave them to her house and that we would pay later, but now that I know that it's actually mine, he's gonna get trouble if he wants money for it

oh true... good luck in the future sortings out of this because i dont think it will be easy to convince them to part with them for free.

especially if he just found them and is taking this as a financial score, hes gonna be bummed.

Well since it's mine he's not really in a good position to argument I think. I actually never spoke to that guy even if I know who he is, my friend told me that she would take care of it.

once, after skiing, i took my boots off beside my car, with my skis aon the floor. so i take off my boots, put them in my car, and drive away. Yep, I left my skis in the parking lot, and at around 11:40 i had that same flashback you talked about, felt like a dumbass indeed
