Just spent a shitload at my local ski shop

I just got back from a ski shopping spree kinda.

i bought all my new gear for 07:

07 Line invaders

Look p10 lifters

added on a wide brake

Lange freeRide 120 boots in Red.
 
well i work at my local mountain so i get a discount on skiis but:

invaders: 250

look p10: 140

wide brake: 25

Lange FR boots: 100
 
duse, i spent more than that on my t-halls and px12, let alone my boots, coat, pants, lenses, gloves, helmet...haha, im not trying to pick on you, but reallt, thats a good deal..
 
$225 for Invaders is not much of a deal if you work at a shop. Couldn't you order them on a pro/shop form? They could have been only $150.

Think it over or ask someone.
 
you didnt read it correctly, i dont work at a shop. I work for my local mountain. The local shop has a deal with the local mountain that gives the mountain employees a discount on gear. We dont get it for as much as the shop workers do. But idk why you dont think 225 vs. 300 isnt that great of a deal.
 
thats a [pretty dope fucking deal for 06-07 skizzles. considering i am going to be dropping somewhere in the range of 900.00 for this years skis.
 
my shop or the place where i usually go had 05-06 thrusters for 250-300 new and i thought that was a pretty good deal..new skis in my area are always HELLA expensive like 600 +

STFU NEWB you know what the discount is and yea you have to prove it with your last pay stub. But yo Ross, get your shit there because the new 07 skiis are at a sale price for like a week and then you get an additional discount on top of that so like whatever they were selling the invaders for at the sale price, i got an aditional 10 percent off of that.

there should be a thread for people to tell how badly they got raped on prices on shit. or just the rediculous amount of money that you spent on all your shit.
 
Now all you need is to go to your local SureFoot and get footbeds and a custom foam liner for your boots..... Since you saved all that money... you should spend some of it on making you boots fit correctly..... BTW ... i have nothing to do with SureFoot except own there product and I can tell you it was the best investment in ski gear EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
were all the boots there that cheap, cause theres a shop kinda near me with lange boots so i might go try some on if they are that cheap in most places, cause no good boots in the shops ive went to went for 100
 
Spent $1200 this year and about $1000 last year. I decided to spent all my money on ski gear and gas and thats about it because my mom buys ATVS and jetskis so I can just use it all on ski gear.
 
yea dude every boot was 100. We have a chain of Ski Haus dealers by us idk if there are any where you live.
