Living in the Hudson WI area. Might pick up a gig at Afton for a pass. Is there any sort of ski scene around here?

Urban shit? Anyone have a good backyard setup when it snows?

What's the best shops in the area?

Pinewskis is a good shop.

Lots of ski areas along with Afton.

Local Favorites are

Trollhaugen because they always have a great park,

Elm creek is a hidden little gem.

Also there is Wild mountain, Welch village, Hyland hills, and Buck Hill.

For a bit more of a drive up north there's Spirit Mountain , Giants Ridge , Lutsen , chester bowl.

There's a couple more north west of the cities but I can't recall them since I haven't been that way.

Afton is close to you, I’d go there and good park.

also check out buck hill.

elm is the fun secret spot. Cheap too.

try the house in little Canada for gear

I really like Whitecap up by Ironwood,MI,....And then there's Mount Bohemia, Only maybe 7.5 hours from Hudson,...

Afton's a ton of fun and Trollhaugen is pretty close to you as well. Welcome to the Midwest, where tow ropes and rails are in abundance.
