yea the latest that any mountain in the east is open till is like april 15 or w/e and its like a 5 inch base, stop complaining and go hike that shit in colorado

^wow u guys r so lucky u still have snow this late, and that at least some mountains are open to like july. We're lucky if a mountain out east is able to stay open till may. And if it does, it only has like one trail open that has tons of bare spots and hardly enough snow to really consider urself skiing down it.

Alot of the reasons that resorts close is because of National Forest regulations, that make them shut down after a certain date. Or the mountains realize people don't want to spring ski in 70 degree weather. Which is ridiclous.
