Just bought these old Raichles, stoked to try them out.

They came with some spare parts. I have the racing flex and normal flex tongues. Planning on getting a custom footbed and new FT liners. Pretty pumped to hit the hill. They also came with a sick boot bag.

cool. You should get a booster. Def the the intuitions and you will prob need the extra tongue. Maybe even buy another tongue, the plastic could be quite brittle by now.

They seem like they are in pretty good shape. The plastic is flexible, and I think they were stored well. If they crack, I'll use the other pair. I have a set of boosters for my current boots that I'm gonna rob. These are a 25.5, and my old full tilts were a 27.5. These should fit quite a bit better.

Did you get these as a novelty, or for them to be your actual ski boots?

I would buy the liners, some replacement cables from FT, a strap, and maybe even see if the buckles for new FT's would work.

Maybe you could polish up the plastic with something that wont deteriorate the plastic even more than they already probably are.

By the way, K2 owns the original molds for flexons, and K2 owns full tilts. I'm not sure if they used the original molds, but they probably highly influenced the design of Full tilts

I originally got sized for boots in Fairbanks, Ak. They size pretty large up there because everyone wears thick socks, and a lot of people will put heatpacks in their boots to stay warm. I had about an inch of room behind my heel on the shell fit. The size 25 is under 1/2 inch, so it's gonna be tight but a lot more performance.

Same mold. I'm not gonna replace anything unless things start breaking. They seem to be in really good condition. The plastic isn't cracked or brittle, and there aren't any stress marks. The previous owner was a racer, but he blew out his knee and left everything in storage for the past few years.

plastic does have a shelf life.... and can dry rot... i have seen too many boots shatter from the years of temp change.. be safe!

Good call. I'm pretty curious to see if the rubber toe from the new full tilts can be retrofitted onto an older pair of boots. I know the heels are replaceable, and I'm lucky that the toes on these are in pretty good shape.

YES!!!

take your fingernail and try to put an imprint into the shell... you can feel if its hard and brittle, or nice healthy plastic.

The plastic seems fine, at least it doesn't feel any different from my Full Tilts.

You don't think FT would really replace them do you? I'd be stocking up on old broken boots if that were the case.
