does anybody have some reviews on these? the park rocker seems cool and they have really stepped up this year

Silencers have All-Terrain rocker, not jib-rocker. But, yeah, the Silencers are a really dope ski this year. Meant as a "Cruiser Killer" meaning the kill it on groomed trails and even moguls, they'll do ok in powder, but it's not your best option. As for park, they're pretty good, the rocker will make nose butters really fun and easier as apposed to earlier versions of the Silencer. They're a fun ski for sure, good choice.

Hell yeah. Yep Silencer is a brand new ski this year, ABS sidewalls, All-Terrain Rocker and the new top tooling. Enjoy those things. They are fun.
My favorite review on them was from POWDER. One dude wrote, "There are park skis that cost twice this much. They're not twice as good."

i dont think i'll ever be able to think of the silencer as anything other then a price point low end park ski, seeing as thats what it has always been, how ever, im glad to see price point skis starting to become better and better, keep up the good work schmies

I don't know. i have seen a lot of people killing it on silencers, Although i suppose the ski isn't doing any of the killing (maybe the silencers with the daggers were). But the fact that those who do kill it choose to ride silencers does say something.

yeah i like all the comments......k2 is really changing the whole game up with the new technology

i was a bit hesitant at first since they were silencers, but the guys at colorado skis shop know whats up and have never let me down..they couldn't stress enough that the silencer is no longer crap( he even recommended them over the bangs)can't wait to ride em!

the silencer isn't the price point ski this year, the press is. i'm not 100% positive, but it looks to be the old fujative with rocker, which to me, sounds awesome.

why would you want reviews on a ski you have already purchased... that seems a little late now doesnt it?

i barely have herd of em but they seem super legit and compatible with a lighter ski such as the silencer

how heavy are you guys who are riding the mojo 15's?

im only about 135 lbs.( im only 14) and a 15 din setting is definitly too much

Well it's not what the max din that matters, it's the minimum that matters. It's 5-15 so if you ride a din of 7 you can easily ride Mojos or Peaks.

I've always been under the impression that K2 skis are bombproof but weigh half-a-ton... how heavy are the new silencers?

How hard do you ride? Being as you're 14 (its not a bad thing, I promise) I would try to hook it up with some 12 din bindings. The look px 12 jibs (or whatever they're called now) are pretty legit. Don't get caught up in weight of bindings, it really doesnt effect swing weight very much at all. Pick out a good 12 din binding from a company you're comfortable with. Salomon makes legit 12 dins as well, I'd go with either Salomon or Look/Rossi to be honest.

I hated my silencers but they've changed so much from the model that I had. I swear to god after my first weekend on them I had two gashes on the topsheet in front of my toe piece that were to the core.

used pivots from someone on here, px's blow. go to a used ski shop find some crap skis with pivots mounted on them. you can usually find skis with pivots for under 100.

im about 5 7" 135 lbs.

Im a pretty mellow skier in the park doing more slow style tricks instead of hucking and tucking or trying to do a million switch ups (if you understand that)

but in pow i like to charge in the woods do some cliffs and stuff

I need something durable because i ski 2-4 times a week and am constantly falling and really just beating on my skis overall

if you are over 85 lbs you will brake those clicking in. got to check them out not long ago, and i felt like they would brake if i gripped them tight enough
