Just bought JMMT!

I went to best buy today to see if the shipment had come in and sure enough it had. Raced home, popped it in my PS2, nice intro, some footy from MSP and some party with tanner, raps and mosely. Anyway the games pretty good, controls are like tony hawk but kinda messed up, itll take a day to get used to. Graphics are pretty good, like coolboarders for ps2 but a little better. The spins are nice and slow, you can do 1440s off big jumps but it still looks nice. The levels take like 5min to complete, pretty long. Im pretty impressed overall, but its not amazing. Its better than any of the PS2 snowboard games and you have SKIS! Im sure I will like it more once I get better and get some more interesting levels.

im not going to buy ps2 but if they bring it to comp or something else then i would prob buy it

The game is cool as shit but I dont know if its worth buyin a PS2 for, IMO. There are some other really bad-ass games for PS2, its a really worth while system to buy, but just for JMMT I dont know. Theres a good review in the reviews section, Im too tired now. Basically envision coolboarders with good graphics, real skis on their feet and cool characters. Actually I havent played big mtn mode yet so I cant really compare it to coolboarders. Fun game, props to 3do for givin skiers some play.

 
I don't realy like the game that much you have to use the left analoge stick to stear and the control pad to flip and spin so your always switching between the two and you can only do 4 grabs with each character and maybe I havnt played far enough but you can only do mistys, rodeos, front, backs, adn spins.

 
I think it pretty much sucks ass. I just got it like an hour ago. Do I need get a gold medal on San Francisco to move on? Cause right now I only have 1 level and no new outfits and no new equipment.

i doubt ill purchase the game, ill just rent it and see how it is, bcasue from what i saw it didnt look that good, because the levels, eek!, i want like the whistler park, snow summit park, mammoth park, termblant park, and buttermilks park, if a game recreated those, and have utah backcountry as a level, it would be so sweet, and have real skiers, real skis, clthing, and make all the tricks look really good, controls being tonyhawk style

im gunna rent the game and play it on my friends ps2 and if i like it im going to buy a ps2. so it better be good.

definitely not worth buying a ps2 for. buy a ps2 for all the other great games. i am still amazed that somehow i made the decision to buy jmmt over gta3. i guess it is ok for the first freeskiing game but the controls are fucked up and there are alot of glitches.

the music is alright, one song is right outta THPS2, and the music has a huge glitch where it occationally plays two songs at once.

I love the game, it's nothing close to realistic (you can do double backflip grabs on flat ground), but it actually looks preaty good. The controls are a little hard to get used to, but it's really adicting.

great for a first effort, but for the next one I'd like to see the perfect balance gone, and the ability to do more than just misty and rodeo 720's.

its ok...once u get good at it...like I got to big mountain mode in like 30 mins which was kinda disapointing....like the graphics aren't very good, and the music and narrator sucks...its not a very good game, but because its skiing its fun...like if they were to make a skiing game equivalent to Amped for snowbaording it would be so dope cause I like amped more the jmmt its harder...U dont just get pulled to rails and it finishes tricks for u
