i've been pretty quiet lately but now i've got something to say to all you little wankers out there:

this all came from reading the comments on the Orage Masters results. seriously, stop with the whole "first post" thing. people are supposed to put comments in to give feedback on what they thought of an event, article, product, etc..... no one wants to read your bullshit and no one really cares that you got the first post. sorry to crush your dreams but no one cares.

why do people care so much? I personally have never been blessed with the chance to say 1st post but i think i can see the logic behind saying it. You see if you write something after you say 1st post chances are that you wont have first post. Im guessin the people who do usually write something in the article later down the posts

I don't think anyone is getting bent out of shape over it. Pipe_Munky has been here for a long time and I think is just getting tired of it - as well as most people.

It doesn't really affect me that much, but I agree that it is lame and pointless seing 100s of comments calling the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 50th posts on a thread. But I guess lame and pointless things make up the majority of the internet.

 
i have had first post before, i cant remember if i called it though. its quite an experience to look at an article and see you are the first one to post about it.

as for calling it, i dont mind first post but as for those who call 8th or 30th, just give up, nobody cares.

Its a newschoolers tradition thing. Altought I'm not a fan of it, it just comes with the territory. I mean it's not hurting anyone, and when people get first post, they usually go back and read the story after. So whatever, I just live with it.

When it comes to calling first post on pictures, videos, or anything like that, that's not needed at all, 100 new pictures get added a day, no need to say "I was here at the right time"

It would really suck if it got to calling first post on threads.

ya i got excited when i got 2nd post on the orage masters thing, but i didnt claim it. ive never had 1st post tho. only 1st post should be acceptable, anythig like 3rd are 29th or w/e are just gay
