im pathetic because i dont like Juno? Right...i hope Juno made you realize that women get pregnant and not men so you and bfs will have to resort to adoption, i like all kinds of movies , shout some out and ill tell you if i like it, international movies are ballin also, hollywood is pretty garb these days
 
i really cant see how this was "witty" or "funny". sooooo over hyped, and wasnt anybody else bothered by the fact that NOTHING HAPPENED? the movie relied alot on juno's "personality" which was incredibly annoying, especially when she first went to see the future parents and was being a juvenile bitch. lack of any real plot, forced acting and drawn out scenes really made this film suck
 
juno is deff. a girls movie, michael cerras part is almost non-existent. If you want to watch a witty movie with school kids from the burbs see rocket science.
 
Cera should've gotten way more screen time, but I thought it was really good... Ellen Page is one hell of an actress, she's witty and funny as shit. The second half of the movie is definitely chick flickish, but the first half had me laughing my ass off.
 
^^^One never sneak in because we have to check all the time and if you get caught on a friday we throw a $120 fine on your ass. And Juno is a good movie
 
I watched it last night and it was probably the best movie i've seen in a loooooonnnnnnnnnngggggggg time
 
yeah i saw it and i really liked it but there's always some insecure "macho men" who will hate on it because they're afraid people will call them gay. The kids i went to see it with did this and when someone asked them why they hated it they just said "it was fucking gay"
 
i just watched it. i gotta say, it was fantastically written and hilarious at some points. i had known ellen page before, as being kitty in the xmen movies, but she put on one hell of a performance in juno. you can relate to this movie so much its unreal, from miniscule bits of lingo to the way people act. it was downright one of the best written movies i have ever seen, and ellen page was amazing as juno, who had 90% of the lines in the movie

for those macho men that cant watch a movie like this or a chick flick, go screw yourself. if you honestly think that crank or some jason stathom bullshit (which ill admit is fucking badass and cool as shit) is a BETTER (not cooler, BETTER) movie than a movie like juno or the notebook, youre outta your mind. if you call the notebook gay, then youre probably insecure about your sexuality or just too tough for it, cause you only eat red meat. i know im straight, but i can also know that the notebook and juno are incredible films

and laurence, im really interested to see what movies you like. if you honestly didnt think the departed was a good movie, i dont know what you like. you probably went into the movie hearing so many good things about it that you wanted to be different and draw attention. the departed won best picture for a reason, because it had a ridiculous cast, and they all performed to their abilities. just because its a remake doesnt mean its bad. king kong 2005 was a remake of one of the greatest films of all time, king kong 1930's, yet 2005 was still a great great film

too bad this is in media and arts sooooo no one comes here
 
I saw it last year, and I liked it okay, it was cute.

As for people talking about the Notebook, I have never seen it but wiki`d the spoiler once and nearly barfed when I read it. At least Juno is a plausible story. The notebook is stupid and fairy tale-ish, and I can only hope I will never be forced to watch such drivel.

sorry if I offended any notebook lovers. Juno was much better.
 
the movie's intro is awesome. Juno is one of my favorite movies, the filming is awesome and the story is great too. Not one of those cheesy hollywood films.
 
the last shot of the movie is so sick!! I cant wait to get a chance to do it in one of my movies. That shot is exactly like the movie. Its super simple, without trying and works amazingly
 
let me see if i can constructively disagree with you here. I've watched the movie several times, and it ended up sucking the more I've watched it. Diablo Cody it seems just tried to cram as much cutsey expressions as possible into the movie, which ended up kind of killing it for me. Maybe watch it again and see if you get what i mean. Anyways, i cant bear to watch it again, the dialoge kills me.
