June and July conditions for Thredbo and Perisher

Hey guys, from a fellow australian to another, i was wondering if you guys could help me out. I am planning on making a trip this summer to sydney, probably in mid june until first or second week of july and i wanted to go up skiing with one of my american friends. I was just wondering when i should go up. My uncle said that the best time is in August but i cant go then. would the first week of july be any better than the last week of june? Also, which resort is better park wise? Thanks guys!!

not that i really know, but i believe 'park wise' perisher is the best. i dont think that timing really is really able to be as predicatble as a week or two, its just luck

See, there's three kinds of people: dicks, pussies, and assholes. Pussies think everyone can get along, and dicks just want to fuck all the time without thinking it through. But then you got your assholes, Chuck. And all the assholes want us to shit all over everything! So, pussies may get mad at dicks once in a while because pussies get fucked by dicks. But dicks also fuck assholes, Chuck. And if they didn't fuck the assholes, you know what you'd get? You'd get your dick and your pussy all covered in shit!

i'd recommend going as late as you can (as you mentioned, i would pick the first week of july over the last of june.). because a couple of times when i went mid-late june the snow cover was just starting to pick up a bit

What?

Last week in July has been pretty good the last two years, but before that has had mixed success. 2003 was shitty up til that week, there was SFA snow.

In tractor pulls, a 'full pull' is the best you can get. Ahh, how sport mirrors life.

um i live close to both thredbo and perisher all year around, and to be honest early jully isn't always the best time, it really just depends - luck!

and as for the resort both are really good, it really just depends on personal prefference some ppl will say perisha others will say thredbo...its up 2 u

The problem is that the first week of July is the start of the NSW school holidays --> crazy long lift lines and a lot of annoying little huckers...

Last week of June, on the other hand, ur running the risk of shitty snow....

If possible, i'd say go from about the 20th July onwards, coz all the kiddies and their mommies and daddies have gone back to school and work

keep your filthy mits off me!

like playing leapfrog with a rhino #>#

yeh true^^ all tha races are on that week before the 20th at thredbo or perisha so just at tha end of july.

yeah and the way things are looking at the moment is not good......i was up at thredbo on tuesday nd there is only a tiny bit of man made crap snow on friday flat (begginers area flat as) so yer....deffinitely later jully if possible

now i want to go to australia, i thought there were like only kangroos in Australia

who took my fanny pack...

it turns out that it is actually pretty good for this time of the year....they have more than double the snow depth that they had at this time last year...nd about 85% of perisher is now open

woo! taking a weekend off on 26-7 to head down south coast. touch me on tha honga.

Snatch a kiss... Or vice versa.

Yar an idiot.
