Jump building help?

So my friends and I have a bag of rock salt, some shovels, our skis and boards, and 12+ inches of snow that fell on Saturday and Sunday. We want to build a hip that goes off to the side of a tee box on our local golf course so that we land on the banked other face of the tee box. We only have about an hour and a half of precious daylight, so we need to work fast and be effective. Any suggestions?

P.S.

We also have some big-ass flashlights.

fuck people have been grumpy on ns lately, little fuckers give some love the guy is asking how to build a legit jump not weather g-suit or magic-suit is cooler is this is what ns is, grumpy little ass fucks this is a legit thread go wine to youre dick!

im gonna say without pictures of the place it would be hard on what kind of tips to give you other than haul the snow in from a spot away from your build site

start far away from where you want the jump and just start piling in, get a good mound going, salt it, pack it good, and add more snow. if its desired shape and height, you should be good to go in 30-45 minutes. if it still needs more maybe salt, pack, and stack again. good luck mang

So wait, I pile up a big mound, salt it, then pack it, then add more snow to give it shape, then salt and pack that second layer?

Yep

basically you wanna make sure when your piling snow it goes snow, salt and another layer of snow on top, maybe a bit more salt but its not the best for your bases

yea, always put snow as a top layer over the salt, even if its just a coating, and press it down. should work well
