Juice vs. Gold Project

For real? Gold Project. Only time I had ever heard of Juice was when it was on the frontpage and it was a backyard edit...
 
GOLD, because it's real skiing on real mountain, no but really, Gold because it's not some prebuscent kid in some ugly magic suit or whatever that ugly suit is. (sorry if I pissed you off kids but that's some ugly suit.)

been following them on facebook for this season and pretty stoked on what they are doing
that said, juice still seems like they had mad fun so props to them too
 
I really don't think both projects are out against eachother, they're just out there to have fun.

That being said I think Galin is an ill filmer/editor and Juice is excellent in those categories too.

But if I really really had to pick one, Gold Project.
 
Juice absolutely kills it. I love Joey's editing and the skiing is real ill. Always a real cool vibe going on in his edits.

juice is a crew of kids that ski some new hampshire hill (cranmore maybe?) while gold project is a project. that films skiers from different crews and goes all over the place.
not really the same thing. think of it as D1 sports vs. D3 sports
 
I've been a fan of the gold project since day one so I gotta go with them. I don't know much about juice but I bet they are legit.
 
Both Joey and Galin are killing it in their respective areas. no reason to compare them at all- they are both putting out banger content and having fun while they're at it, what more could you ask for?

Pretty surprised to see this thread. I agree with most of you, Gold Project is superior for sure. Galin is really putting a ton of efforts into the edits and they are coming out great!

A couple friends and I just do Juice edits for fun, I'm still in high school and without a car, so I try my best. I will admit that the past few/preseason edits have been overall ghetto.

Right now i have probably four hours of stuff saved up for who knows what. I just grabbed a new camera too, so I will likely make a B footage edit with all the standard definition stuff of "real" skiing that I have.

Like some kid said in this thread its like D1 vs D3. While I'm still in high school I'm just trying to fine tune editing/filming.

We have a lot more urban footage, some powder footage and plenty of jump shots. I'll drop something a little more mature soon. That ski blade edit was just a joke, cmon.

Just trying to have fun, props to Gold Project~

Alright guys come on, juice and gold project are incomparable. The gold project is real dope, but its totally different than juice, which is a crew and not just a filming project. Galin has been doing a real good job with that and he's been filming all over with a bunch of different people, while juice is more confined.

It seems like the majority of the people in this thread are really uninformed about what juice is though. We dont ski blade, that edit was a joke. We do real skiing at real mountains so all the ski blade hate isn't really relavant. We do alot of filming on jumps and do our best to get pow shots. We got a lot more in store for you guys, this years movie is gunna be dope!

Its hard to compare the two things when they are totally different. Gold Project is fresh though!

So I know I already stated my opinion in here (Juice kills it), but I figure I'd step in and clear things up much like Joey did there. To say that they're uncomparable is kind of silly, because well, Juice kills it you see. He's shooting pretty much exclusively for his movie, where as I'm shooting for video updates (and ultimately a movie), so pretty much anything you see that he puts out is b-roll stuff. This thread is a little premature (and silly to be putting us against each other. We're good friends and stoked on what each other is doing). Once you guys see what Joey's cooking up I think you'll be real stoked on Juice. Joey's super talented and I love his editing style. He's always able to put a fun, positive vibe into his work which makes it fun to watch.

That is all. I'm glad you're liking what I'm putting out as well, but please don't feel like you have to decide between one or the other here, we're practically one in the same. We're both out there loving what we're doing with a bunch of awesome kids who kill it and are just out there having a good time. We're glad our fun can entertain you.

i would say gp but if juice wasnt filmed at one place and with one crew i would say juice... mr juice is a better editor and more creative IMO

either way their both sick much love too both crews (no homo)
 
we have been filming alot more places this year, have some good urban shots and joey saves all the good shots for the movie

dont waste ur time comparing em...watch both of there shit and get super stoked on them both
