Just made my own Jucy Lucy and it was the best burger ive ever had. Do it some time you wont regret it.

My version was two patties with med. chedder inbetween.

Sweet onion buns toasted with garlic butter.

Mushrooms sauteed in butter and red wine vinegar.

Mayo on bun and thats it. No veggies or anything on this it would only take away from the awesomeness of the Jucy Lucy

man it sounds like a fantastic idea but it reminds me of a commercial I saw for a "cheesy cheddarburger" from wendy's....that shit made me gag just watching the commercial.

I do like all the trimmings on my burger though.

Its cheese and juice from the burger. The gap were the cheese is tends to hold the juice from the burger too making it ridiculous.

^ And i like all the trimmings on my burgers too, but it just seemed wrong with this. Definitely did miss them.

Also i added some red pepper and other seasonings and a good amount of pepper that gave it a good kick.
