Hey JP,

This is probably the dopest trick ever. I'm serious. This is probably the best trick in skiing. Can you do a really cool one this season? It can be on a cool park jump, a ball clenching cliff, or over a street in Rossland. You're the best at these, and they're the best trick.

I live in Nelson. You should come visit and do a really rad Backflip mute. We'll build a cool jump. It can be in the back country or over a dumpster; Whatever. It'll be totally rad either way. You can even do it over a park jump. I'll even get Dave Crichton to come out and we can all backflip mute together.

That along with Candide's tail grabs.

Even sweeter than back mutes are backflip mites with a liitle torque that makes look like your gonna spin 90 and you get some extra tweakage going on until your ski hits you in the back of the head, but if you somehow manage to tweak it so hard one ski hooks in under your coat at the waist then you know you've taken it too far; then reverting back to 90 to come down for the stomp.

Looks like I spelt back mutes wrong, but have ever not tweaked a trick so hard you did a bonk off your own head with a ski, or had the tail of a ski slide underneath your coat getting hooked in making it scarier than fuck when you try to put down the landing gear?

I was fortunate enough to meet JP back in the day and took some laps with him and witnessed several of these beauties. It was a day ill never forget.

A fucking 'men, this thread needs about a thousand bumps. I didn't see it the first time so I gotta contribute my two cents.

The backflip mute is undoubtedly one of skiing's dopest tricks. JP's backflip mute is undoubtedly the best one in the game. I remember that shit blowing my mind about 15 years ago in this movie:
