Jossi Wells appreciation thread

Being that NS is a site that is devoted to freeskiing, I am always surprised by the lack of content on one of the greatest freeskiiers we know: Jossi Wells.

Jossi has been on top of skiing for so many years; progressing style while competing in pipe, slope, and big air at the highest levels, always putting out banger segments/edits/movies time after time again.

Big ups to Jossi for contributing so much to skiing, and so many vibes his way on the neck injury. Lets hope that Jossi has a fast and painless recovery, and is able to come back stronger than ever.

In the mean time, share your favorite edits, pictures, stories, etc. of the man himself.

He guinea pigged the One Hit jump the other morning. First hit of the day, testing the speed and he came up short. Screw being the first to test the speed on that 100ft jump. So gnarly.

About time he got an appreciation thread!

Solid style for multiple years..

On another note, does anyone know what that Red NikeSB jacket is called? Seen alot of pros with it but I cant seem to find it. Next year or team?

Somebody with a very good memory find me a Jossi edit. This would have been atleast 5-6 years ago still pretty unknown. He was riding his home resort with some snowboarders and wearing pink or purple skinnys doing frontflips. Who is up for the challenge.

Sounds possibly like sn0 mafia vol 2, not sure about the skinnies though

Eh its whatever dude, we're just getting old. You never hear kats talk about Candide, Schiller, Downey, Redd, Spence, Rainville, Sprang, The Phills, Rinfret, not even as much from Carlson, Dumont, Hall. They've all been through it as have we. OH MAN. Boronowski, Abma, Sage. I will agree with you, that these skiers are way more influential to my life then the generations after, but perhaps its because thats who we grew up watching.

Mad love to those fallen. JP and Burke, You were the greats. Thank you.

Have to send it to my boys as well. Warnick, you wild man, I wish our paths could have crossed on this plain, but I heed not, for I know they will cross in time. That day will be great. Heff, we love and miss the shit out of you. Thanks for everything.

Last years coaches jacket, one of my favorite coats.

Yeah yeah ik i was awkward as fuck but it was my 2nd year skiing and you all know how stoked you were back in your gaper days. Being from Michigan and having never been on a hill with a vertical bigger than 500 ft I had never been so excited just to be there. Jossi was the man and we shredded all day, and now 5 years later he still takes a few laps with me every time I'm out there to catch up. He's the man.

Bump for Mr. Bishop

Lulz... I blame the search bar.

No I know there's been these before, but dayum I just felt like we needed another one. Jossi gets better every year and just continues to do shit that blows my mind.
