what the hell, just because those are my three favourite rappers, doesnt mean i dont listen to anything else.
 
then what real rap do you listen to. it just sounds funny that you are claiming you listen to "rap" by saying you listen to cudi and kanye to show how diverse you are, when if you really listened to real rap you would have said someone like pac or biggie
 
If you made one single contribution to the music industry I would consider your opinion possibly correct. But unfortunately, you have not and have absolutely NO RIGHT to denounce musicians as successful as kanye or kid cudi as being "not real" rap. He didn't even state that that was real rap. He simply said he liked the artists. And then you had to come a long and be a bitch and put words in his mouth so you can hate on him for liking kid cudi and kanye. You don't understand the concept of musical diversity if you think that listening to tupac and biggie are requirements for a good collection of music.

im pretty sure its a well known fact to anyone who listens to rap that kanye and cudi are not real rap. they are non comparable to the oldschool rappers, because thats true rap. kanye was good at the point in time where he made songs like jesus walks, but now hes just terrible. if he listens to what kanye makes nowadays and calls that rap im pretty sure anyone in their rightful mind would agree its not.

bottom line, the only reason why i pointed out that kanye and cudi were not considered rap (in my books, fuck you can have your own opinion i dont give a shit) is because those were the only two people who he named that are even close to rap/hiphop. if he was truly diverse then he would have named someone like pac, biggie, wutang, talib kweli..

oh btw, just because i listen to this kind of music doesnt make me a thug you fucking prejodice bitch. nowhere in my text that you quoted did i say i was a thug, and im pretty sure you made fun of me for "putting words in someones mouth"
 
I listen to kanye west on the reg and think he is the fucking man. Do I not know what real rap is?
 
Its not a big deal, i diddnt like him as their guitarist anyways, they get a new guitar every time they release an album, my personal favorite was Dave Navaro from Jane's Addiction
 
if you ever listen to good oldschool rappers, you will see what i mean... i used to listen to newschool "rap" a year ago then my buddy got me hooked on biggie for like 3 months then i wanted more so i looked into wutang, cypress, nwa, gangstarr, big l, talib kweli, mos def, etc. and i havent gone back or even wanted to go back. its hard for you to know what i mean unless youve gone through the same process

come on there are plenty of amazing newer rappers.. dont even try to say your musical taste is diverse if you just post the most known groups ever, not saying just because stuff is "underground" its better and stuff but your list of people is not diverse at all. if you honestly say that there are no good artists from the last couple of years, then i pity you because you are missing out on plenty of good music.
 
that was hands down the best concert i have seen and probably ever will see. in grand rapids they played mad old shit and sounded amazing

i dont understand... just because biggie and tupac represent rap and being gangster and black... their music if awful for the most part... they just talk all low and puff cigars to thumping and stuff. well i dont really know, forom what ive seen. -kanye especially plays like 20 instruments and actually makes music WHILE rapping. the combination is what makes him good.
 
well thanks for telling me about all these rappers i already know about and listen too all the time. I enjoy all of it. Hell i enjoy all music. From classical to hard core rap.
