Jobs out west

I'm in my second year of college, accounting major, and hate it. I live in upstate NY and me and a couple buddies have been talking about making a move. I wanna go to Oregon, huge ducks fan, or Colorado. I wanna get out of here and get a job but how's it look out there? I wanna do something badass like fight wildfires or be a logger.

Maybe you saw they got absolutely demolished by Utah this week :)

Honestly I was give an UO sweatshirt in 6th grade and it stuck haha. And yeah that was a sloppy game they were due for an off year haha

Well i'd finish school even if that means transferring and picking a new major. As for becoming a firefighter or logger I would say you will soon find out they are not as "badass" as they seem. Coming from a person whose family has been in the logging business for 40 years you can trust me when I say the average everyday logging operation is not as thrilling as the history channel makes it out to be". It's a lot of tripping over anything and everything, fixing broken equipment, working terrible hours, and at least in northern MN freezing your ass off. All that for very little pay if your anything less than the owner.

Or just move, work a job you can get, and then try to get a job you like after you're there.

If you want to move just do it. YOLO

If you don't have any kids, or anything tying you down, just do it

There are no jobs!!!! Hoard your things, stock up on food, the end is near! 7 billion people, one tiny planet, it's like a comedic reality t.v. show, except it's our terrifying reality. Just wait until we hit 13 billion. War will happen.
