Jig for FKS/Pivot bindings

Anyone have any leads where one could purchase a jig to mount some Rossi/Look bindings? Looks like Utah Ski Gear sold one at one point, but now out of stock.

Not messing around with paper jigs - I'm looking to invest in the real deal for all future binding mounts. THANKS.

There's that Jigarex thing. But pretty pricey, for most people they'd never mount enough skis to make it worth it over going to a shop.

^Damn that thing is sick. Definitely a little $teep but thanks for introducing me to it - never seen that before.

I machined a pretty simple one a while back, let me see if I can find it and maybe I'd make a couple more if NSers want them. It's a FKS/STH2/Shift 3 in one jig. Thinking like $45 or something, I'll hunt it down this weekend.

I use a jigarex and it's fucking awesome. Not pricy at all if you split it with a couple friends. Free mounts for life.

Nice that's a solid review.

Yeah alright buddy. Done it countless times successfully.

Are you planning on using the same fks model every mount? Because if so any shop could order you one. But the thing about bindings is the hole pattern usually changes. Like the fks and the newer look pivots don’t have the same hole pattern making shops purchase new jigs for the newer models. Even the jigarex makes you purchase templates for the different type of bindings.

I’ve got a large collection of the older, high din fks 15s and 18s. Patterns are all the same, even on the geeze toes. Newest FKS completely unchanged to my knowledge. Only ones that may have changed are the newer 14s which I don’t use.

I understand you need to buy templates separately.

Just to add,

I’m unsure about the new new pivot 14s, but the older orange fks 140s definitely have the same hole pattern as the 180s and 155s. I’ve swapped toe pieces multiple times with the same holes.

Just tape the area with blue tape, draw a centerline and measure precisely and center punch before you drill if your good with a tape measure.
