anyone in boulder know what's up with jibij? i tried to go there the other day and the sign was taken down. i really hope they're not closed for good they are sick store
 
yeah, this was about six months ago. they're closed for good. the former owner, i forget his name, said he wanted to move on to new things, and i guess was tired of owning hte ski store. it sucks, they were real legit
 
Josh Bryant was the owner. He did a great job. Really helped out the up-comers and overall was a real good guy. Ran the shop well and was core. Like Josh said though, he wanted to move on. If I am correct it will have been four months closed as of August 30th. I think it closed April 30th. I thought it was a joke when I heard it was closing. I remember seeing Jibmarchij as a story and then a week or two later, the store announced it was closing.
 
they back! I used to draw the jibij logo all over my shit in hs. One time I caught a ride up to Boulder and went over to Jibij. This was in like 2007. Really boring looking industrial complex, but when I opened the door.... a whole new world. I ended up chillin with the shop guys watching Believe by Tanner. I bought an orage shirt and a super dope shirt that had a shark on it that said "jibij is jawesome". Still have both shirts. good times

damn, i remember visiting the when I was deciding between schools, bought a shirt or something as well and remember the owner (i think?) gave me a freeze magazine. the one with the guy looking like he was asleep on a rail (t heed i think?). what area of boulder was that even? was that the same place that virtika used to have the pro sale?
