Remember when [tag=219615]@Jiberish[/tag] used 80/20 cotton/poly, and full poly ribbing/cuffs? Remember when their hoodies actually had some elasticity? I remember. First 2 pics of my brothers of the blade hoodie, 2013 maybe? Doesn't stay stretched out, so if I actually wanted to ski in it, the hoodie would hold onto the gloves, but return to their original size after taking them off.
Below is a tech hoodie or whatever stupid name they gave it, which basically means the hoodie and pouch are made with some lighter and less durable material, that effectively turns the hood into a wind sock. What really bugs me is that they've transitioned to full cotton hoodies, which aren't the worst material overall, but where they really fall short is the cuffs and waist. Wanna wear your new Jiberish hoodie skiing? Have fun leaving a 2 foot diameter hole where your wrists go. Want to roll up your sleeves? Same fucking deal. It's unbelievable the drop in quality, and when I've asked them directly, they just ignored me and gave a standard answer I'd expect from a corporation. Actually tried to bring up the email but my computer is being dumb. Maybe I'd consider dropping $80 or even a benjamin on the hoodie pictured above, but THIS SHIT?
If any orange names that ride for jiberish wanna send this link to Pete Drago or whoever is running things over there, that'd be real nice. I've owned probably 10 jiberish hoodies, and out of those, 5 were made before they forgot how to make a hoodie that wasn't shit. "Maybe this time it'll be different", but every single hoodie I've purchased from them since the BOTB hoodie has disappointed me. I get they've tried (imo failed) to transition into a hype/streetwear brand, but no one wants to buy a fucking hoodie that gets obliterated in quality by something I could buy at walmart for $6.
If anyone at Jiberish is wondering how to give their failing company a boost, maybe announce that you're going back to the polyester ribbing with some artsy closeups of the cuffs. Maybe throw a slo mo clip of Jonah Williams pulling the cuff over his glove before laying out some kind of sw dub 10 transfer. Idk, I'm an engineer, not in marketing.
