that's just a guess i'm not sure haha i like a lot of this years stuff!

Thanks for the info Pete. Other than the shorter backs, did you make other changes to sizing and fabric? Also, are any pieces exclusive to shops?

no prob.

The cotton is a tad heavier weight but the rest of the fit is the same as summer. The down puffy jackets, the waxed cotton jacket, and the field vests are a more traditional fashion forward cut. They are not meant to be worn long and will fit accordingly. The lookbook video should showcase that.

There will be some items exclusive to each store but those are not in the preview. One is a Starter cap series for LoHi, Vault, and Armory that will only be available in their respective stores and online.

The other question someone had about the zip hoodies.... We just aren't wearing them much anymore in favor of jackets so we used the hoodie pattern to turn items into hybrids last year like the choppin wood and pusher. We took those items and updated them for this season adding a few more options. There are a few zipper hoodies in the collection though, but overall we focused on pullovers since our design elements worked best on the front chest of a sweatshirt and that front zipper limited the design options we preferred.

Hope that helps.

I'll stay logged in for a few more hours while I work and will check back to see if anyone else wants me to address specific questions.

Thx

thanks a ton for your replies pete, it makes me happy to see companies who can be so good to their customers. but what are the chances of there being an orange/auburn flannel?

Pete I think it has been said that you will not recreate pieces, but do you think you will ever bring some back? I would like to see something like the Jungle Cat re-released as a pullover.

It is a lightweight ripstop nylon. The jacket is real light and packable. It is not designed to be an outwerwear jacket for riding, but more of a jacket you would wear to layer, or around town in the colder months. It will be a staple in my closet for anything from running errands to heading out to dinner. It has a mellow sheen that gives it a sharp finish. It falls into the more mature streetwear aesthetic and pairs well with dark denim and some leather boots.

May already have been answered but is the sizing the same as last year? Hoodies 1 inch shorter than crews?

Also, does anyone who has hoodies and crews from last year notice the length difference? I only bought 2 crews but this year I want hoodies.

Why did you stop making the hoodies in store items? that is what made them special IMO. you could only get a lohi at the store in lohi, and same for the vault and armory now.

also sick idea with the names, I had no idea about the vault, and armory meaning.

It is possible. We have taken pieces and re-introduced them in future seasons. We have talked about just about everything so if you have thought about it good chance we have as well.

The funny thing is that the Jungle Cat is a piece that was not popular when we released it but became more popular afterwards. I specifically remember people saying that it looked like garbage and hating hard on it. I knew we had something really cool and unique though with it.

what is the fit on the new plain logo sweatshirts like the one that is just balck with jiberish is it tall or normal fit?

Actually LoHi hoodies were always available online, from the day we first made them. They were never an in-store only item. In fact, they were the most popular item 2 years ago for wholesale accounts that carried Jiberish (which we found funny). That being said, there may be some in-store only items moving forward and with 3 stores it will be more possible for us to do that.

Thx

the same as we always do on sweatshirts. as they get bigger in size, they get longer. The only real change is that we slimmed down the fit over the years and trimmed the extra length in the back.

Thx

How much is the shipping for you americans off the jiberish site? To ship a hat to canada its 20 bucks. 20 bucks to ship + 33 dollar hat = 53 for a 5 panel is a little steep. would order a lot more shit if the shipping wasnt so much. abstract mall is even worse, 30 bucks to ship one item.

12.99 for your entire order anywhere in the continental u.s. (maybe includes alaska and hawaii too). Shipping over borders is always expensive

Figured with Pete chiming in, I would offer something quick as well.

A lot of thought goes into all of these pieces, as Pete explained. I'm not totally sure which pieces people are referring to as "Aztec", but I thought you would be interested:

The two patterns below are based off patterns of the woven blankets and clothing of the Lenape Tribe. The Lenape people were the indigenous inhabitants of Manhattan (where the 5-points neighborhood, same neighborhood that saw the early American gang wars that "Sons" bucket is based on was located). Seemingly just another native pattern, but it actually ties right into the line.

yes i understand that. what i dont understand is how shipping can vary so much? i got skis shipped from 4frnt to me for 30 bucks. a big long heavy box pause for 30 bucks. a hat that weights next to nothing that you could stuff in an envelope is 20. and the jiberish stores are about 15 hours away from me. i've had go pros shipped from new york for 12 bucks.

I think it was less people hating on the design but actually hating on the fact it had a retail price of $116+shipping or something like that and nobody would pay that much.

looked at the preview again and i like the majority of it. there are a few that i will buy right at the release, Cord pusher and that "new macho hood and pocket hoodie" but i feel like when Smash and grab comes along ill probably buy a case or two and like pretty much everything i get.

Exactly my thoughts, I like everything, but I don't like most of it enough to pay full price. Especially now that the jiberish market sucks in sell and trade

It's been said before but have you guys considered doing a riding line and a street line? More abstract Patterson for ridding, like the jungle cat, eletric autumn, and Mohave.

Whats the difference between this years axing and last years? Is the large from last year the same size (length) as this years? I only ask because you added a small and curious if I should get one size smaller than I usually would.

Does it say Aztec somewhere? Or did someone just go ahead and compare the design to that? I think it looks more native than anything, especially with the wolves

Someone just thought of the name and it seemed to fit. But one page back Twoods explains what the designs are and drago explains alot about the inspiration of this years line
