I had a ps2 with a 'PS2-s v3.1.1' hardmod that can do it. There are some maps that I can't get working, and maybe only half of the grab packs won't work. I blame this on shitty user-made content, so if it is well-made it works. I can also play gnarshmallow but I cant map the grabs, it is still pretty fun.

shit, you could reach down to your feet to do grabs and shit and set your spins with your hands. I have never played Blur, so i am not sure if this is how it really is. If they made a realistic enough game where it would show you the outcome of you setting your spin different ways, if you get what i am trying to say.?.?

You don't do that. To do a grab in SSX Blur, you hold the Z button and tilt the nunchuk forward, back, left or right to activate a grab, and then use the joystick to tweak. And you simply flick the Wii remote left or right to spin.
