im sure there is more than one thread about this.

but if i dont see every kid 16 and under at sno mtn's jib academy

i wont do anything because i cant, but i will be very dissapointed in you.

this is the first legit grom ski comp to come to this area and everyone needs to be there

the pro list is stacked.

so come and ski even if you older than 16
 
Yeah, it's going to be such a fun day to ride. So many skiers are going to be in the park that day.

I saw most of these guys at the US Open, you have got to see them. They are at the top of the game right now. It is a no pressure, layed back day to learn some new tricks or just hang out. Seany is right, beg, borrow or steal, you don't want to miss this.

 
soooo stoked, how is sno's park right now? becuase I dont want it to turn into an all rail kinda thing because I like jumps more, skiing with walker and clarke and those guys is going to be sooo dope as well
 
I'm so excited. It's going to be so legit. I'm taking some of the guys to Boulder on the friday before the academy i think, so watch for them there.

whats the date for this? do you think its worth a 6 hour drive? or go to killington and ride a not so crowded park where its 7 hours
 
yeah, I'm in the same boat as the kid above, I'm 17 and don't think I be able to shred with everyone because I think they would definitley close the parks for a day when the pros come to town
 
yes.. come on down, it is a free event. I just hope they get a decent park together, I am not expecting much at this point.
 
yea...it's going to be so embarassing. Sno's park is terrible, they are re-building because the Rev Tour is this weekend but it's not going to be that great for the Academy. And they probably won't close the park to other people, and if they do...theres another one open and they won't be going all day long so you can ride the big park when they're not.

I have rode the setup for the past two days, and it could be a lot better, but the setup is still really fun. For how small the jump is it's poppy and at the Rev tour today kids are throwing some nice 7's,and 9's down. As for the park closing down, I talked to my boss about that and he said he's trying to get it closed. I'll talk him into letting the older riders in also so we can hang and ride. If not, us older kids can just go shred the little park and still have an awesome time.
 
Cool, that is good news, hope they build it some more. I wanna see clarkes doubles again in person.
 
i hope this rain and warm wheather doesnt ruin it but from the looks of it from last week i think they goin be on the pipe all day cuz they dont have much else ... haha
 
they need to push out that pipe and build some jumps.. I am sure teh rain probably trashed it too. any reports how SNO held up?
 
I haven't been up there since Monday. I think im going to head up tomorrow, ill tell you how it is. As for the pipe. We plan to save it for later in the year. Mayday at Sno!
 
OK SO HERES WHAT THERE IS SET UP

I was there today and it really wasnt that bad, in the big park it starts off with a flat down box on the right then an urban style down rail on the left. Theen it goes into prolly a 25 ft. table but its pretty poppy and is nice for switch and that kinda stuff. after that jump is goes into 3 features side by side which are a long flat bar on the right, a rollercoaster box in the middle(that is mad fun), and tyhen into a steep down box, then its a stair set or an a frame box then into either the pipe or an inrun into the last jump which is prolly a 35 footer but is madddd poppy and sooo fun. The park is lookin good for tommorrow hopefully the rain wont be too bad but its going to be fun regaurdless!
 
yo!!! i am sitting in the cincinnati airport with jenny the salomom. our flight from beautiful cincinatti to scranton got cancelled, but we managed to snag the last two spots on a flight to harrisburg, so we are renting a car and will be in scranton by dinner. the forecast for tomorrow is rain, but that doesnt matter cus we are having a sickest poncho contest! hit up mom or dad's closet, or the thrift store or just buy some trashbags, just make it work and make it ill! see you tomorrow!
 
The last jump is money. I think it's the biggest the mountain has ever had lol. See you all tomorrow around 9.
 
so it was a pretty sick day, seany J won (congrats dude you killed it out there) warnick got second, and someone else got 3rd, it was suuuper rainy tho and pretty much in finals most people were falling but sean stomped his shit so he got it.

Congrats man! Come to Boulder tomorrow, more of the same with out the comp. walker, clarke, keri and freeskier mag Nichole is supposed to be there.

Ya today was so fun! I didn't even ride in the comp or anything and I still had so much fun. Sean and Warnick killed it. They went at it real hard in the finals. Props to my boy Seany J, have fun in Mammoth!
 
Got x-rays this morning and it's not broken...thank god. Just a pretty bad sprain. I'm out for like 2 weeks. Boo.

It happened on a sw cork 7 to the bottom of the landing of the last jump. It didn't hurt until I started walking around in my shoes and then it freakin' killllled and swelled up really bad. My jaws kinda messed up from my knee slamming into it too. Oh well. It's all good.
 
This one was rendered to .flv at a bit rate that produced 96meg. I guess this is as good as it gets.

You should really get quicktime pro and use h.264 to compress your video. That way you can host on a site that supports quicktime and your videos won't be compressed again like what youtube does. Quicktime is the best format to put your videos in, you should really look into that.

Cool edit tho, real random shit at the end tho haha.
 
pemiere allows me to export to quicktime and use the h264. the video is half the size by default..120x160 or something like that.

check videos on here for a better quality one.
 
h.264 does work wonders, but compressing with premiere and a pc sucks. I wish sorensen didn't cost so much. That was a cool edit tho. I'm glad sno made a set up that looked fun.
