Jet skis hate thread.

In my opinion the blue jets are a scam.

I have 70+ days on my vishnus and day 3 of @jacksparrows jets they are way softer than my wets. They are so soft they already feel soggy like edgless bdogs.

Edgless bdogs for anyone who hasn't riden a pair feel like sliding weights with no stability. No pop no playfulness. The jets already feel this way. To whoever started the myth about them being the same as first gens I applaud you. You had almost everyone.

Only thing I can say for the blue jets is durableillity but even day six they have more top sheet damage than all three pairs of my skiis combined so not really.

I believe that this event of the blue jet scam will go down in ski history.

First of all 1000s only get a bad rep because of durability. And I ride way harder/ claim than jack sparrow and his top sheet is in much worse condition. Also 1000s are the most fun of any ski I've tried. For example if I could get any brand of skis for life and didn't have to pay for them 1000s would be my choice.

they also have a bad rep for costing $200 more than jets while probably being half as durable.

1000s are the TW pros of Europe

Idk dude, watching Charlie Gnoza rip dubs off 50 foot jumps with them makes me think they're pretty sick. U might have gotten a defective pair or something but idk

That's what you get for following trends and buying skis in their 2nd year of production. You see someone jibbing a traffic cone and assume they are sick so you get mommy to throw her card down to some kid in SLC making skis for the second time. Its common sense really.

Point is if you want a solid ski maybe test some out from established companies that have been making skis for decades. Don't watch zootspace 5 times, buy the skis they ride, then complain the first time you click in.

they’re made in the never summer factory which has been making skis and snowboards for decades. maybe do some research first?

TBF Lines are made in the same factory as K2's, with drastically different reputations for durability

jets are made in the same factory as icelantics, i don’t hear anyone complaining about the general durability in both. I mean bruh they cost $50 less than this years arv 96 and armada uses lego plastic in their sidewalls.

K2’s don’t have great durability either tbh with expecting to poachers

I know 3 kids who have snapped jets this season and it’s November. I would not compare jets durability to Icelantic at the moment lol

i’m a full supporter of second and first gens but i agree i’ve seen a few third gens snap already

Sounds like it’s the core profile. Probably milled it thinner.

Neversummer uses pretty much same materials for every ski. My NS made RMU is very obviously an NS made ski. All NS made skis are pretty identifiable

Jems stating facts. I'm a fan of 1st and second gens I'm just having on 3rd gens

Jemsthey should’ve just stuck with the same design

I did this exact thing with Vishnu in 2017 and they turned out to be fucking sick. Still riding them for street skiing

Having lego plastic actually sound dope to me, Lego blocks are mad durable

If Line got rid of their “thin tip” technology I’m pretty sure it would fix 90% of their durability issues
