Hey guys I applied for the JET (Japanese Exchange and Teaching) Program in November and just found out I got an interview for it! I was wondering if anybody else on here either applied or already been a participant? If so do you have any advice about the rest of the interview process? I'm mostly just stoked that I might be teaching in Japan next fall and thought I would let you guys know so I could get ridiculed for my achievements lol

my friend applied a couple years ago. in the interview somehow he said that he didn't really want to work with kids. That axed it for him there.Now he applied again, went through the hoops, and has another interview. As an outsider I can't say too much, but from what I know, as long as you talk about yourself in good ways, you've got it. Getting the interview was the biggest hurdle.
 
If you get in that would be ill, if not, there are plenty of opportunites to do stuff in the world. Good Luck man
