I think Bible would be a good proof that Jesus existed. I personally don't believe that he was god but I do believe that he existed as a pretty popular persona in the world he lived in. As I heard he also had royal blood in him (don't remember where it came from though).

I saw a cool program on this last night. Well not this exactly but they spoke about Jesus and his bloodlines. It was on History channel and I think it was called ''Beyond the Divinci Code''...very interesting

I think if you look beyond the Christian religions you'll see that most likely he was a man and did walk the earth. Obviously Christians believe he walked the earth, but in both Judaism and Islam they acknowledge Jesus as a man, and that he did walk the earth. So I'd say its a safe bet that he did in fact walk the earth, however, I would not suggest that there is any definitive proof of any divinity.

Don't ask me why I know this, but Jesus' real name was Joshua Bar Joseph. The Joseph was for his father, I guess thats how they named people back then.

And if you think the bible is proof of anything, you are extremely naive. Couldn't it just as easily be fiction? And why would you be so arogant as to believe that the bible is true, while other holy books out there that directly contradict the bible are not?

Don't just listen to your parents, get out there and find out things on your own.

^^ true, but someone is right and the other is wrong when something condradicts the others, but anyhoo... as for Jesus walking on the Earth, he is a historicaly proven person, he was in the logs of Pontius Pilate (a proven person) and other historical accounts, unless you don't believe the history books or historical accounts because they are all eye witness acounts or you are a chronological snob... the real question is if we was just a wise man, or insane, or the son of God; there is no denying his existence on Earth, unless you don't believ in history and its accounts of things past...

^Granted, I may have been over generalizing, but in my experience, people who force their opinions on other people and think that what the think is the end-all-be-all opinion, then yes, they've been brought up in that type of environment. I have a very religious friend and we have intelligent conversations on religion (I'm pretty much an aethist), without saying, ''You all are fags for not believing in God''

i dont beleive in any of that sort of crap, think about it, its just not possible, well some of the shit when he got killed and shit was true and some of that shit was, but most of the rest of it is bullshit, and unless i see some proof about it being true i will continue to think on the terms of that there is no proof of his existence and having the beleive of his existence is like have skiterfrenia to a point, thinking some1 is there who really isnt and shit like that, if u pray and get an answer id say that u DO have sumthing wrong with u, like skitserfrenia

almost...You believe he does exist, I'm not so sure he does, or I should say, that he exists in the way religion protrays. Do I believe in Jesus, yes, he was a man, a great man I believe. The main reason I'm an atheist is that there are so many religions saying that their religion is the right/correct religion. How can they all be right? I'm a very fact-based person, I like concrete things, and yet I still believe that I have faith and I'm spiritual.

well, im a fact based person too,very scientific minded, either right or wrong, exept there is stuff beyond fact, beyond reasonable explanation, and all explanations for the things i cannot explain (me being here, my existance, why do we have to die etc...), and i have found in my faith in the God of the Bible the answers that explain what is uncomprehensible to ourselves best... now, i am not one to shove im right you are wrong in your face or anything, but fact is, someone is right, all the others are wrong somewhere, and i believe i am in the right (which is my right to do so)... but yes, you can be a spiritual person, i cannot tell you you aren't, but if you are an atheist than your faith lies in science, am i right?

but for me, nothing that science from men comes up with explains the non comprehensible, but the Bible and God does... which by no means says that you are wrong, just that i don't believe you are right, a fine line to walk...
